Nickie Feddersen is defined by broad strokes of masterful illustration, compositions of both clarity and complexity, of tension and tranquility. Her work is built upon a dynamic design background, which is vast and far reaching. Nickie has a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a Master’s degree in Architecture. Because of this, her pieces are both structured and abstract, illuminated with vivid color and graphic texture. Her use of mixed media is explicit and includes some of the following elements: acrylic, oil, leafing, glitter, adhesives and plexi-glass. Nickie’s work was commissioned and installed in The Osprey at Beaver Creek, a luxury four star Beaver Creek Resort, The Sheraton Dallas Hotel and Nichola's Restaurant in Dallas. She also has has multiple installations in private residences in Dallas, Texas and is also well known in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
